I'm on a jag involving Indian Corn. How I love it.
This weekend, I'm going to be making and putting up an "Indian Corn" necklace fer a giveaway! Just a brass-n-glass interpretation of the real thang. My poor previous giveaway winners are waitin' -- because I'm waitin' on a paycheck so I can mail 'em off.
Been feeling lower than a toad's butt a-settin' in a mud puddle. Sometimes I feel kind of downhearted and foolish in life. I was sad enough to get myself a big bowl of Froot Loops and was eating it while reading the last Harry Potter. And what do you know, but several moths flew out of the cereal. ARGH. I had already eaten quite a bit! But what the hey. I was scared to look too closely at the few Froot Loops left. Scared something might be moving in them or swimming in the milk.
Moths in the Fruit Loops eh? That is a new one on me!! Yeah, I totally would have looked. Been wanting to try those M&M pretzels, but probably a good thing I haven't been to the store lately then. :)
Are you sure those moths weren't really Nargles? lol!
I know how you feel but cheer up dear, things will turn around. Imagine living in a box of Froot Loops! Those must be the happiest moths around!Your indian corn graphic reminds me of my fall necklace! No wonder you like it so much, it looks like pretty little beads!
I do so love indian corn. I'm trying hard to think of Fall's cooler temps. Today will be 95! So wrong!! Just get yourself a fresh box of fruit loops and get back to Harry. About all we can do in this heat. Smiles, Sally
nothing lasts forever, Holly Honey!! Throw it out and use zip loc bags on your dry goods. Our prev cat would drag them into our home and I'm talking bird sized ones. Hubby would find them in his shoes. lol Our issue is ants in the coffee pot and cereal and dry goods.
Almost bought you a donkey planter yesterday at a junk shop here in N.C. They had set plaster of paris into the compartment and I figured it would cost $$ to send in that condition. :0)
I hope your mood can leave the mud puddle soon, no fun havin' muddy bum:( I've never heard of m&m pretzels but you can bet I'll be looking for them now;) I love Indian corn too and fruit loops!!!
I love Indian Corn- I can't wait to see your n
necklace! The recipe sounds like it would be wonderful too!
I hope you are not feeling so low this morning!
I will have to try the M&M pretzels!
I love the lookof indian corn, makes me want to go and get my fall things out..for I have a few we bought at a farmers market last year...I have no picture of the indian corn....???? Is it mine or yours? Since nobody else mentioned no picture..I am guessing it's me...Cheer up my friend...you are loved....
It was slow to post the picture..my computer is running diagnostics...there it is I see it now..
so pretty.
Hey Holly, what 's Indian about the corn? I like my Made in India corn, of tyhat 's what it is??? Cultural gaps here I recognize.
Welll of something flew out of you r cereal, the srore should tak e it bake and replace it.
I know someone in Canada who found a nail in a birthday cake. The store refunded their money and gave them a free cake.
I am also feeling a bit down, like a froggie in a mud pool. I like your descriptions. Are you reading Harry Potter because its Friday the 13th?
Some slangs i don 't understand. Dpes I 'm on a jag mean, I like it???
Does being on a jag mean- I like something??? I don 't undertand all the slangs....from across the 7 seas.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you have moths in your Froot Loops. Oh my....when life is poopy...it truly is!
Love the Indian Corn. Fall can come anytime now. Am sick and tired of days being in the high nineties, with humidity percentage nearly the same. Ugh...whatta summer! Am hacking back flower beds this weekend, just to improve my mood by destroying something~hope things improve.
Life is such a roller-coaster ride, isn't it?
Hang on there western gal.
I r3ecently read another post about Froot Loops. Maybe it was yours.
