How wonderful! Don't enter me- but Pumpkin Pie is my favorite- along with candy corn and caramel apples, apple dumplings!! LOL
Holly, I have to tell you that Ella has been harassing me to make pumpkin pie already! She went into my cupboards and pulled out all the cans of pumpkin and demanded we get baking.
If it were not 110 today, I might have obliged her. LOL. :)

Oh, I just love fall too! My favorite fall food? I love the soups and stews and crock pot dinners with the warm bread. I love my husbands family recipe Texas Chili. Anything pumpkin! Or apple! Yum!

Canned pumpkin is hard to find anymore. It took months, then finally, I snagged two cans which will be hoarded until we're in the thick of autumn. The pie I make is so simple...1 can of regular pumpkin, 1 can of eagle brand, spices, and 1 egg. I throw in some vanilla too, and pour into a grahmn cracker crust pan. It's wonderful.
Even the food is better in the fall, isn't it?

Hey, I like these tickets, thanks! I like any kind of squash roasted with brown sugar and honey. And I can't wait to have pumpkin seeds with a little seasoning salt. Canned pumkin was a bit scarce last year. The crop wasn't too good. And I live very close to the "Pumpkin Capital of the World"-Morton, Il. They have a HUGE Libby's/Nestle pumpkin cannery there. I am SO ready for Fall! This summer has been just way too hot to enjoy. My favorite fall foods are punkin pie, punkin ice cream, and apple anything. Also my sister's Thanksgiving stuffing, piled on top of a helping of stuffing, topped with a bunch of stuffing!

apples,and cranberries & pumpkin in plenty...I would have to say it is sweet corn..it is limited in amounts and is something I look forward to each year...supply is limited..

My grandmother made the best persimmion cookies. They didn't spread out much and were like little mountains, crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Oh how I wish we still had that recipe! No one else remembers them!

I love soup and my Sweetie likes it most when it is cool outside so..... when fall comes I get to make soup! Right now I'm buying the Hatch (NM) green chilies I'll need to put in it.
Apple Crisp is my favorite autumn treat.
It is very hard to decide Holly but I think a good Harvest Soup of root vegetables and crusty bread to go with it would be my favorite...
