Autumn Roses Calling Card

This is just a redo of a Victorian calling card -- now in autumn colors.

I have a giveaway ready but am rushed, rushed, rushed with learning the new job. Not enough paid hours for the actual amount of work, as is typical these days, I'm afraid.

I meant to ask you how the new job was going...how bad is the traveling? Learning a new job is always exhausting and stressful too.
Good luck with it, and hope that it suits your needs.
Your autumn roses are lovely. Those colors are oh, so pretty!
Hang in and don't forget to get enough sleep!

That's very pretty Holly and don't let them stress you out!

Pretty soon dear Miss Holly, you will be in your comfort zone..starting anew can be difficult and exhilerating at the same time.. There would be many more jobs open if employers would take some of the work off the existing workers....we all wear to many hats, and they keep piling on top more and more, and expect more and more...management excluded...they do less and less and have lots of meetings, which accomplish NOTHING...Have a good day your own sween self...

    Beautiful Autumn roses!
Sorry the job is somewhat stressful- hoprfully you get a raise shortly after you start!

Dear Holly, learning a new job is stressful... hang in there! I love the fall colors of this rose. It is cool this morn. I can feel Autumn coming. Yeah! I got the packages and I'll write you soon. I love snail mail and especially such nice ones on a Monday morning. Love and smiles, Sally

The roses are lovely. In the summer we have none. Ours will start blooming after pruning in Nov/Dec.

Today we have a heavy rainfall.

Ain't it the truth. SM new job is the same way. He is paid a 40 hr salary..uh huh. He works 10-11 hours shifts, 5 days a week. And is in the same situation you are in. Work or get let go. But, at least we have money enough for the basics again. Last job.....uh not so much.

It is just awful what some employers will put their employees through! 20 years ago when I worked for a law firm they got to where they required me to work on Saturdays too! Half a day but still. I wasn't paid for that day either. They gave me comp time which I never got to take off. Crooks!

Hope your new job gets better or you find a better job!

Oh, I love this image. Thanks for sharing it!!!

I hear you on the job front. It's the same where I'm working now too. Last season it was still "normal". This season, lots of people have been layed off from their jobs...and now we're still expected to do the same work with less staff. So it's a time of transition for us...and I think the boss of the company is really striving to make it more profitable..I'll be praying for you at your job!!! It's nice to have a job :) :) :) What do you do exsctly? Have a good day tomorrow, Holly!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
