STILL HOTTER THAN BLAZES!
I was used to this sort of thing in Tucson. But West Texas ought not be as hot.
I'm cheering myself up with a GIVEAWAY. A NECKLACE of sorts, what I call a "jumble" necklace, just one to wear for grins. It's brass with Lucite, Swarovski, and glass beads. Here it is:

Isn't this heat stifling? It looks so green and inviting outside and as soon as I open the door, it sucks the ogygen right out of me...I can't breathe out there...I feel mostly sorry for Gizzy. He must think I'm punishing him for us being indoors so much.

Have a nice day and try to stay cool - hope we'll have enough electricity this summer. Sometimes in California, they used to conserve electricity by shutting down sections of the city so people had to be without for a while ...

Muggy here yesterday, temp's wern't to bad, some severe storms thru the area..today is is

I bought my first watermelon of the year last week. I was surprised at how good it was as I don't really ever like the seedless ones. You can't find the ones with the seeds in them at all around here anymore!

AWESOME NECKLACE. I WOULD BE PROUD TO WEAR IT. IT IS SO VERY PRETTY. I THINK IT WOULD BE A LOT OF FUN TO TOUCH THE BEADS AND LEAVES HANGING DOWN AND WITH THE COLORS YOU COULD ALMOST WEAR IT WITH ANYTHING.
