I'm just like that though. They could at least donate them to something???? <br /><br />I've sent my last graduation money in the mail a few years ago! I had 3 in the family graduating and I sent them money around graduation time. The two that did sent a Thank You said they spent it at the Beach! What! I know it's theirs but come September you hear about how they can't afford those danged college books and how poor they are! <br /><br />I'm going to rant some more here about graduates and their parents! lol So, when it comes time to pay for college their parents seem to not have any money at all to pay for that. Oh no, but for Prom they go all out! Their parents buy those $500 dresses, spend a lot of $ on getting tanning sessions, spend a lot of $ getting those fake finger nails, spend a lot of $ getting their hair done, etc..... What a waste! Seriously! If they can spend all of that for one night they can spend it for 1 semester of college!!!! Don't you think!<br /><br />I'm done and I feel much better! I thought they would save them for next year. Isn't that a waste? I never realized how wasteful card companies were. I'm surprised at Hallmark. Can't you at least get them for recycling? I bet some of those cards could be upcycled into pretty decoupaged pictures or used in other art projects...I know of at least one thing I can do with old cards.
